On Sat. 26.07.2025, Team Taiwan proudly took part in the Berlin CSD. Like every year, the CSD parade served not only as a celebration of diversity, but also as a powerful statement against discrimination and for the visibility of marginalized communities.
Taiwan, as the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage, shares the values at the heart of CSD: equality, inclusion, and human rights. By participating in the parade, we joined the global call for justice and acceptance, while also highlighting Taiwan’s role as a leader for LGBTQIA+ rights in Asia.
We were honored to be joined by both Taiwanese participants and international friends who came together to show support, celebrate identity, and stand in solidarity. The cheers, smiles, and curiosity from the crowd reminded us why visibility matters. Together, we brought Taiwan into the spotlight—not just as a place on the map, but as a voice for dignity and equality.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to King Car Germany GmbH (Mr. Brown Germany) for generously sponsoring coffee drinks, which kept us refreshed throughout the march. We also thank fLotte Berlin e.V. for kindly providing two cargo bikes that helped keep Team Taiwan connected throughout the route.
We’re pleased that Team Taiwan’s participation in Berlin CSD 2025 was also noted in a report by Focus Taiwan, which highlighted the group’s presence, the strong support from spectators, and Taiwan’s growing visibility in global LGBTQIA+ events.
Thank you to everyone who walked with us this year. Your presence helped amplify Taiwan’s voice on the international stage. We look forward to returning to Berlin CSD in the years to come, continuing to share our story and our values with the world.
Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep walking with pride. See you next year.
